Miss Dena Walker is Instructor of Mathematics. Dena completed her Ph.D. at Oklahoma State University in Mathematics Education and has additional coursework from Emporia State University. She joined the faculty of Northwestern in August 2007, after serving 5 years as the Hall Supervisor of Northwestern’s South Hall and 2 years as an Adjunct Instructor of Mathematics. Miss Walker works to promote the learning and understanding of basic mathematical strategies.

Dena takes great honor in being able to represent Northwestern in this community and this state. She enjoys visiting with students about how Northwestern changed her life as a student and encouraging them to become a part of the Ranger family.
