Miss Northwestern, Outstanding Teen to be crowned Sunday

Miss Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alex Smith and Miss Outstanding Teen Ashley Tucker will pass on their crowns Sunday, Nov. 2, to the two women who will be chosen to represent the university at the Miss Oklahoma Pageant in the coming year.

The pageants will take place in Herod Hall Auditorium at 4 p.m. Doors open at 3:30 p.m.

Tickets are still available at Holder Drug or from contestants for $8 in advance or $10 at the door. Rachel Stewart, pageant director, also may be contacted at (580) 327-8178 or rsstewart@nwosu.edu to purchase tickets. Northwestern students get in free with a student ID.

Competing for the Miss Northwestern title are Chelsay Adams, Woodward senior; Kelsey Castle, Jet freshman; Victoria Kimbrell, Enid freshman; and Cortney Lofton, Oklahoma City junior. The title winner will go on to the Miss Oklahoma Pageant May 30 - June 6, 2015 at the Mabee Center on the campus of Oral Roberts University in Tulsa.

Nine are participating in the Outstanding Teen Pageant. They include Abigail Billings of Woodward; Brenli Brown of Enid; Rylee Clonts of Piedmont; Mattie Flanagan of Jet; Morgan Money of Edmond; Natalie Nell of Tulsa; Liberty Bird, Landry Gaddy and Meghan Webb, all of Alva.
