October 12, 2012 -- Julia Benbrook of Woodward High School was crowned Friday as the 61st Miss Cinderella at Northwestern Oklahoma State University during a pageant for high school senior women held in conjunction with the university’s homecoming celebration.

September 21, 2012 -- Twenty-one women representing high schools in Oklahoma and Kansas were on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University campus Saturday for an orientation session in preparation for the 61st annual Miss Cinderella Pageant held as part of the school’s homecoming celebration.

September 19, 2012 -- Serving as emcee at Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Miss Cinderella Pageant is Miss Oklahoma 2012 Alicia Clifton. Clifton will lead the pageant on Friday, Oct. 12, at 8 p.m. during the annual Homecoming event.

In honor of the 60th Anniversary of the Miss Cinderella Talent Show and Pageant at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, four former Cinderella winners and a former pageant director are coming back to campus to judge this year’s event. Jane Jayroe, Miss Cinderella 1963; Annie (Arganbright) Milleret, Miss Cinderella 1967; Lucia (Miller) O’Connor, Miss Cinderella 1972; Cassie (McEachern) Walden, Miss Cinderella 1999; and Dr. Yvonne Carmichael, director for 22 years, have committed to judging the Miss Cinderella Talent Show on Thursday, Sept. 29, at 7:30 p.m., and the Pageant on Friday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m.

Nineteen women representing high schools in Oklahoma and Kansas were on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University campus Saturday for an orientation session in preparation for the 60th annual Miss Cinderella Pageant held as part of the school’s homecoming celebration.

Betty Thompson, Miss Oklahoma 2011, will emcee and perform a dance number during the Miss Cinderella Pageant at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Friday, Sept. 30, at 8 p.m. in Herod Hall Auditorium.

High school senior girls who are interested in participating in the Miss Cinderella Talent Show and Pageant at Northwestern Oklahoma State University must attend an orientation on Saturday, Sept. 10, at 2 p.m. in the Student Center Ranger Room.

Contestants in this year’s Miss Cinderella Pageant at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will get a first-hand glimpse of what life might be like if they eventually are crowned Miss Oklahoma. Emoly West, Miss Oklahoma 2010, will emcee this year’s pageant, which begins at 8 p.m. on Sept. 24 in Herod Hall Auditorium.

Due to the National ACT testing day taking place at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on the morning of Sept. 11, the 2010 Miss Cinderella Orientation will be held that afternoon from 2-5 p.m.

Olivia Yandel of South Barber High School in Kiowa, Kan., was crowned Friday as the 58th Miss Cinderella at Northwestern Oklahoma State University in conjunction with the university’s homecoming celebration.
