--submitted by Secretary, Dalton Lamberth
In the first meeting we discussed things we may possibly be doing for this semester:
o Zombie Walk – Members would walk around dressed like zombies. This will be “Performance Art.”
• Video Game Nights:
o We will be having fun evenings where we would play games and study the art of video game making and discuss how video games are art.
• Draw Days (Draw-a-thon):
o We will schedule days where we will open up the Art Annex to whoever wants to draw. This will be open to the public. For this event we will set out a massive sheet of paper and allow whosoever wants to just come in to draw would be able to come.
• Campus-Wide Mural
• City Gallery Trip:
o NAS Members will have the opportunity to go to a large city (Wichita, Oklahoma City, Tulsa, etc.) for a day of art viewing. We would visit one or two galleries and have a nice meal.
• State Park Sketch Day:
o NAS Members will have the opportunity to go to a state park (Great Salt Plains, Little Sahara, Alabaster Caverns, etc.) for a “sketch day.” We will go to the park and be given some time to sketch our surroundings and work on our artistic skills.
• Final Fridays:
o This event would take place during an art show. We would invite the choir and/or band to play during an art show opening to give the public musical interest to add to the visual interest.
• Tie-Dye Party:
o One evening we will make tie-dye t-shirts.
• Pictures with Santa/Santa Store
o A fundraising idea that took place last year, this was a huge success. We are planning on having another this year. Dates TBA.
• Homecoming Activities:

o Decorating a sheet and a door
• T-Shirts Sell:
o We may be selling T-Shirts as a fundraising activity.
