Dr. Cornelia Mihai, associate professor of chemistry at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, has been named as an author of a peer-reviewed research article recently published in “New Journal of Chemistry.”
The article, “Nonhydrolyzable analogs of phosphatidylinositol as ligands of phospholipases C,” focuses on enzymes participating in transmembrane signal transduction.
This is Mihai’s second peer-reviewed research article published in the last three years while she’s been a professor at Northwestern. Her first article was published in 2007 in “ChemBiochem journal.”
Both articles are based on previous research activity she performed at the University of Illinois at Chicago.
“I have an extensive research experience prior to my teaching position at Northwestern,” Mihai said. “I have published few articles in the last 15 years.”
