Men's golf finishes tied for third at OPSU Invitational

GARDEN CITY, Kan. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State University men's golf team finished tied for third with a two-day total of 631 at the Oklahoma Panhandle State University Invitational at Buffalo Dunes Golf Course in Garden City, Kan. on Tuesday.

Kyle Ward finished fifth overall shooting 151 for the two days. Ward shot 75 in the first round and 76 for the tournament's second round.

Austin Cowan (153) finished two shots behind Ward firing a final round 75 after a 78 on day one.

Ben Eastes shot an 80 on day one and an 82 on day two for 162.

Wayne Heffington shot an 80 on day two and an 85 on day one for 165 while Jay Lee's 82 gave him 168 for the tournament.

The Rangers will return to action at the OBU Spring Invitational on April 2.
