    RANGERS TAKE FIFTH IN KANSAS CITY; TUNBERG TIED FOR SECONDKANSAS CITY, Kan. – Olaf Tunberg led the Ranger golf team in the Blue Devil Classic hosted by Kansas City Community College at Dub’s Dread Golf Club in Kansas City, while the Northwestern golf team finished in fifth place.

    RANGER GOLF TEAM FINISHES 7TH AT SOUTH CENTRAL FALL INVITATIONALWINFIELD, Kan. – The Ranger golf team finished in the middle of the pack, taking seventh place out of the 14-team South Central Kansas Fall Invitational played at the Winfield Country Club in Winfield, Kan. over the weekend. The Ranger combined for a two-day total of 648, shooting a 332 on Monday and improving to a 316 on Tuesday at the par 72, 6,463 yard course.

    NORTHWESTERN’S GOLF TEAM PLACES SECOND AT CENTRAL CHRISTIAN INVITATIONALMCPHERSON, Kan. – In just their second tournament of the 2009-10 season, Northwestern’s men’s golf team placed second at the Central Christian Fall Invitational played at Turkey Creek Golf Course in McPherson, Kan. The Rangers finished just five strokes of the tournament winner Sterling College, shooting a 586 for a 26 over-par tournament.

    RANGER GOLF TEAMS OPENS SEASON WITH A FOURTH PLACE FINISHOKLAHOMA CITY, Okla. – The Northwestern Ranger golf team opened up the 2009 fall golf season with a fourth place finish at the Southwest Christian University Invitational played at Lake Hefner Golf Course in Oklahoma City.

    The Rangers were seven strokes off of third place, as Southern Nazarene won the event with a 15 under par, 553.
