Marching Band

The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger Marching Band, "The Spirit of Northwest Oklahoma," is open to all university students, regardless of major. The band meets from 2:00 to 3:50 Wednesdays and Fridays, and performs at all home football games. The band incorporates a variety of musical styles, from classical to jazz and pop music.

The Ranger Marching Band has performed at Arrowhead Stadium in Kansas City for halftime of the Kansas City Chiefs football games, and in the Octoberfest Parade in Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. Most recently the band has appeared at the NAIA National Football Championship games in 1999 and 2000.
