Madison Malone and Josh Stephens were named as the 2010 Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger Homecoming Queen and King on Saturday. Elections took place during Homecoming week, and they were crowned during the coronation ceremony at halftime of the Ranger football game against Texas College.
Brianne Brown was named the 2010 Freshman Queen during Homecoming week.
During halftime of the Ranger Homecoming football game this weekend, Madison Malone, Valley Center, Kan., junior, and Josh Stephens, Sapulpa sophomore, were crowned as 2010 Homecoming Queen and King during the coronation ceremony at Northwestern Oklahoma State University.
Malone is an elementary education major. She holds offices in Student Government Association (SGA) and Student Oklahoma Education Association (SOEA). Malone enjoys cooking and hanging out with friends. She is the daughter of Don and Pam (Lemmons) Malone, a 1983 Ranger Queen.
Stephens is a mass communication major and is involved in Rangers Excelling at Leadership (REAL). He enjoys playing intramural sports and is a member of the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association (OBEA). Stephens is the son of Candace Counts of Sapulpa.
Brianne Brown, a La Vernia, Texas, freshman, was crowned as the 2010 Freshman Queen in a previous election. Brown is a member of Alpha Sigma Alpha and plays on the Ranger soccer team. She is the daughter of Gayle and Don Brown.
