SILOAM SPRINGS, Ark. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State University women's basketball team fell to No. 4 Lubbock Christian 87-57 in the quarterfinals of the Sooner Athletic Conference Tournament on Thursday morning.
Northwestern had trouble with the Lubbock Christian defense scoring just eight points over the first 10 minutes of the game. The Rangers were down 18 going in to the break as the Lady Chaparrals shot just over 68 percent.
Despite the season-ending loss, junior Audrey Richmond reached the 1000-point plateau during today's game. Her 18 points were a team-high. She also led NWOSU with six rebounds.
Talytha Williams added 14 points for Stephanie Shaw's bunch.
Seniors Williams, Autumn Klugh, Rachel Wilczek, Ronita Coleman and Anna Farias all played their final game as Lady Rangers.
The loss ends Northwestern season at 13-15.
