Northwestern Oklahoma State University head women’s basketball coach Milburn Barton announced the signing of Keindra Scott to a basketball letter of intent. Scott, a transfer from Cameron University, will play her final year of collegiate eligibility at Northwestern for the 2008-09 season.
During her junior season at Cameron, the 6-2 post was third on the team in scoring 12 points per game. Originally from Houston, Smith shot 38.7 percent from the field while playing in 14 games. Scott also averaged 4.9 rebounds and was second on the team in blocked shots with 18.
“Keindra’s size and experience will be an asset on the inside, both on the offensive and defensive end”, remarked Barton. “Her shot-blocking and rebounding ability is outstanding.”
