Kokojan receives $1,000 scholarship as outstanding accounting student

Kayla Kokojan, Bison senior at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, received a $1,000 scholarship for being the outstanding accounting student on the Enid campus.

Collins, Butler & Co., P.C., presented Kokojan with the scholarship on Nov. 30. The presentation and luncheon took place on the Northwestern-Enid campus.

To be eligible for the scholarship, the candidate had to be from the Enid area, a senior or junior in accounting with plans to remain in the Enid area for work upon graduation.

Attending the presentation and lunch from Collins, Butler & Co., P.C., were Ross Dillon, Dennis Lakely, Jim Trojan, Cheryl Bryan, Katie McCants. Faculty from Northwestern attending included Dr. Cheryl Evans, Northwestern-Enid dean; Dr. Steven Palmer, chair and associate professor of business; Dr. Kathy Harris, professor of business and e-commerce; Dr. Jerry Gustafson, professor of e-commerce; Mark Pippin, instructor emeritus of business; Gary Tucker, instructor of business; and Dana Roark, instructor of business. The group enjoyed the luncheon with Kokojan and her guest, Chase Blaser.
