Jesse Schroeder, Instructor of Mass Communications, joined the faculty of Northwestern in August of 2006. He received his B.S. in Mass Communications from Northwestern in May 2003 and completed his M.A. in Curriculum and Instruction from the University of Phoenix in 2007. He is currently pursuing his Ph.D. in Educational Technology Management from Northcentral University.
Upon graduating from Northwestern Schroeder worked in radio and television. He has served as news director and anchor for the Wright Wradio Network in Weatherford, Okla. His television experience comes from being an associate producer at KWTV News 9 in Oklahoma City and a producer/reporter at KSWO in Lawton, Okla. Schroeder is a member of the Oklahoma Broadcast Education Association.
In addition to teaching mass communications courses and advising the campus television station, Schroeder also is very involved in a number of committees around campus and the community. He serves on the Faculty Development Advisory Board, the General Education Committee, and is Co-Director of the Miss Cinderella pageant.
Schroeder and his wife Amanda live in Alva with their three children, Brayden, Parker and Mia.
