2009 (Sophomore): Turned in the best record on the mound at 6-1 in seven starts and had the team’s best earned run average with a 6.23... Only game he lost was in his final outing of the season against Southern Nazarene on April 25... Appeared in eight games and pitched two complete games, one against Central Christian (Kan.) and the other against Sterling (Kan.)... Threw 34.2 innings and struck out 26 batters... Allowed opponents to hit .281, the lowest of any Ranger... Pitched a team-high of 4.33 innings per appearance and had a team-low of 9.87 hits per game... Averaged 6.75 strikeouts per game...
