There is still time for students to enroll for interim and summer session classes at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Interim course sessions are available May 12-29, and eight-week and first four-week classes begin June 1. Prospective students are encouraged to complete the enrollment process as soon as possible.
Enrollment for the first four-week classes ends June 2, and for eight-week classes on June 4.
A list of available interim session courses is available on page 37 of the Summer Course Schedule. To view the PDF version of the schedule, visit www.nwosu.edu/course-schedules.
Students also can view a list of closed or canceled classes or if any changes have been made to course times, locations or instructors at this web site.
The site also will help users by color-coded lines according to closed or canceled classes, graduate courses, or if permission of an instructor is required before enrollment in the class can be processed.
All students must obtain a class schedule and enrollment form, have the form signed by an adviser and process the form at the registrar’s office. Current graduate and undergraduate students enrolled at Northwestern and are pre-approved by their academic advisers, may enroll online or at the registrar’s.
New students—both transfers and first-time students—and those returning after being out at least one semester must enroll in the registrar’s office.
Through May 29, regular office hours are 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday, at Alva and Woodward. Northwestern-Enid hours are 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday, and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Friday.
Beginning June 1, office hours at all three campuses will be 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., Monday through Thursday.
The bookstores in Alva and Enid are open corresponding hours. Students at Northwestern-Woodward may order books online at www.efollett.com. The books can be sent from Alva to the Woodward campus at no additional charge, or shipped to a specified address for an additional shipping charge.
Enrollment also is open for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 17. An updated schedule and other enrollment information is available at www.nwosu.edu.
Students with enrollment questions may call the Alva registrar’s office at (580) 327-8554, the Enid registration office at (580) 237-0334 or the main office in Woodward at (580) 256-0047.
