Northwestern Oklahoma State University Ranger sports fans are in for a treat. The Northwestern Ranger Men’s basketball team is opening up its basketball season against the College of the Ozarks inside the Mabee Center on the Enid Campus of Northern Oklahoma College Nov. 3. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. The event is hosted by the Greater Enid Northwestern Alumni Task Force.
The Ranger Cheerleaders, Hennessey band and Rowdy will all be in attendance to help cheer on the Rangers.
Events and activities will be going on throughout the evening for students and alumni. A free, student drawing will take place for a $300 scholarship for in-state tuition.
Admission is free for anyone who has a Northwestern or NOC ID. Northwestern alumni and anyone wearing red and black or Ranger apparel also will also be admitted free of charge. Price of admission is $5 for adults and students get in free.
The Mabee Center is located at 2401 E. Main Street in Enid. If traveling east via Highway 412 (Garriott Road), turn left onto South 16th Street, turn right onto East Maine Street and continue approximately 0.7 miles. If traveling south via Highway 81 (Van Buren) turn left onto East Maine Street. Continue approximately 2.5 miles. Parking is located across the street from the Mabee Center.
