22^nd Annual Ranger Run

The NWOSU Alumni Association sponsors the annual Ranger Run which is held on Saturday morning of Homecoming. The 5K Run and 1 Mile Fun Run begin promptly at 8:00 a.m. in front of the Rialto Theater on the downtown square in Alva. Registration begins at 7:15 a.m. and Homecoming T-shirts are given to each paid entry. Medals are awarded to the first three placings in both the Women's and Men's age group categories for the 5K Run. Prizes are also awarded to the first three placings in the 1 Mile Fun Run Men's and Women's age group categories. Additionally, a Women's Overall and Men's Overall Best Time Trophy is awarded for the 5K Run.

The Ranger Run is an exciting part of Homecoming festivities each fall for NWOSU and the Alva community. For more information or to receive a registration sheet, please contact the NWOSU Alumni Association office at (580) 327-8593. Participants may also choose to download the registration form and send it, along with the registration fee payable to NWOSU Foundation to:

The Ranger Run starts promptly at 8:00 a.m. Registration is by mail or in person until 7:45 a.m. October 6, 2007. Fees are $15 thru October 1, 2007 and $20 after October 1, 2007. The course is about 5K.

The Ranger Fun Run begins shortly after 8:00 a.m. as soon as the Ranger 5K Runners have cleared the starting line. Registration is by mail or in person until 7:45 a.m. October 6, 2007. Fees are $10 thru October 1, 2007 and $15 after October 1, 2007. The course is one mile and for children, adults, pets, Ranger fans.

All entrants receive an official Homecoming 2007 t-shirt with paid entry. 5-K medals are awarded in all categories of the Ranger Run. Course maps may be obtained in the Alumni Office, at (580) 327-8593.
