Annual holiday music concerts presented by the Department of Fine Arts at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will begin on Thursday, Dec. 2, at 7:30 p.m., as the University Singers and University Chorale perform at the Zion Lutheran Church in Alva. These events are free and open to the public.

The University Singers and University Chorale will join forces to present a holiday performance that will feature A Ceremony of Carols, by Benjamin Britten, and Handel’s famed Messiah.

Continuing the holiday spirit on Saturday, Dec. 4, at 7:30 p.m. in Herod Hall Auditorium, the Concert Choir and Ranger Band will perform during the Annual Fine Arts Holiday Concert. Following the concert, Dr. Janet Cunningham, university president, will officially light the university Christmas tree.
