Basic information about Ranger Research Day
III:
- Annual event, spring semester following spring break.
- Open to all NWOSU students, faculty and staff.
- Poster competition for research projects in all disciplines (no oral
presentations).
- Preliminary to Oklahoma Research Day, a statewide/regional
research event held each fall semester; the 2008 event will be hosted by
Northeastern State University at their campus in Broken Arrow on November
14, 2008. (Hosted initially by UCO, Edmond, the event will likely be hosted
by one of the regional universities for two consecutive years, then will
move to another campus on a rotation basis).
- Student projects may be entered 'For Display Only' if authors wish to do so.
- Faculty projects MUST be entered 'For
Display Only.' Only student projects are eligible for the competition.
- Projects that are planned for Oklahoma Research Day should NOT be
attached to foam board, as per the instruction from personnel associated
with that event.
- NWOSU Printing Services can print posters;
contact Janet Valencia, Coordinator of Printing Services, 580.327.8476 or
email jivalencia@nwosu.edu, for
additional information.

Posters may not exceed 48" x 48" and
should be attached to tri-fold display stands (available at
Wal-Mart, Staples, Merrifield's and other businesses);
alternatively, you may provide your own easel. The university will
provide eight-foot banquet tables, with two posters per table.
