Jordan Gaskill of Waynoka, a senior at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, has been awarded for the second year in a row the $1,000 Miss State Scholar Award from the Miss America Organization in conjunction with the Miss Oklahoma Pageant, currently underway in Tulsa.

Family and friends are welcome to attend a "send-off" party Sunday in Waynoka for Jordan Gaskill, who is representing Northwestern Oklahoma State University as Miss Northwestern 2009 in the upcoming Miss Oklahoma Pageant in Tulsa.
