    Shannon Frascht, head rodeo coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University, has submitted his resignation from the post. Frascht became coach of the University’s successful rodeo team in January 2011. He informed university officials that he will pursue opportunities in the private sector.

    Northwestern alumnus and professional rodeo cowboy, Shannon Frascht, has been named as the rodeo coach at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Frascht, a 1990 graduate of Northwestern, was selected from a pool of 26 applicants and will take over the reins of the men’s and women’s rodeo programs immediately. “We are fortunate to get a coach and person of Shannon’s caliber to lead our rodeo team,” stated athletic director Bob Battisti.
