Football hosts 2012 Winter Coaches Clinic

ALVA, Okla. - The Northwestern Oklahoma State University football coaching staff held the 2012 Winter Coaching Clinic on Thursday. The clinic was free to all coaches who wanted to attend.

High school coaches from all around the state of Oklahoma attended the clinic held on campus.

The clinic was broken in to sessions with different NWOSU football staff members speaking about their respective areas of expertise and concluded with head coach Alan Hall speaking to everyone about offense specifically the screen game.

Defensive line coach Dwayne Curry showed film and gave tips on how to improve young linebackers. Defensive coordinator John Falvey shared his expertise on the defensive side of the ball.

Assistant head coach Kevin Turco spoke to the group about zone, gap, pass drills and fundamentals.

After the clinic part ended, the staff hosted all coaches at Champs for dinner.
