Bus trip planned for first round playoff game and Lady Ranger basketball game

The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Association is taking reservations from Ranger football and basketball fans to ride a chartered bus to the Saturday, Nov. 22 first round playoff game and Lady Ranger basketball game in Wichita, Kan.

There are 55 seats available and the cost will be $32. Please call (580) 327-8593 or email nwalumni@nwosu.edu to reserve a seat by 4 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 20.

The bus will be departing from the Percefull Fieldhouse parking lot at 10 a.m. and will make a stop for dinner with anticipated arrival back in Alva around 10 p.m.

The No. 10 Rangers will face the No. 5 Friends University Falcons, on Saturday Nov. 22. The game kicks off at Adair-Austin Stadium on the campus of Friends University at 1:30 p.m.

Playoff game tickets can be purchased in advance Wednesday, Nov. 19, and Thursday, Nov. 20, from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and Friday, Nov. 21, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. by phone, (316) 295-5865, or in person at Sumpter Hall on the Friends University campus.

Advance tickets are $5 for adults and $4 for students/children. Tickets can also be purchased on game day at the gate. Game day ticket prices are $10 for all ages.

Following the football game, the Lady Rangers will be playing the host Falcons, in the Friends Classic with tipoff set for 4 p.m. in the Garvey P.E. Center. Tickets for the basketball game are $4 for adults, $2 for students/seniors, and kids 12 and under get in free.

Tickets for the game are not included in the bus fare and food expenses are up to the passenger.
