The Greater Enid NWOSU Alumni Task Force is seeking food and food-related vendors to participate in “A Taste of Northwestern Oklahoma” on Tuesday Nov. 30 from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m.
The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Enid campus commons area will transform into a marketplace featuring products and catering services of northwest Oklahoma. Members of the community and surrounding area are invited to join Northwestern alumni and friends to sample tasty treats and purchase and order items for holiday gatherings and gifts.
Vendors interested in participating should complete the application at www.nwfoundation.com/vendorapplication.pdf and send it with the $25.00 registration fee to the Northwestern Enid campus, Attn: Lori Coonrod, 2929 East Randolph, Enid, OK 73701 by Nov. 12, 2010.
Space is limited and will be assigned on a first come, first served basis. The taskforce reserves the right to limit the number of vendors showcasing similar items, as well as the right to exclude the sale of any inappropriate item
Due to the fact that Northwestern is a state agency, no alcoholic beverages will be allowed on site.
Each vendor will be supplied with an 8-foot banquet table and two chairs. Doors will open to vendors for set up the day of the event at 3 p.m. Vendors are encouraged to provide samples if possible and will be allowed to either sell items on site or take orders for items to be picked up or delivered at a later date.
The Northwestern Enid campus is located at 2929 East Randolph (the corner of 30th and Randolph). Admission to the event is free. The come and go event is hosted by the Greater Enid Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alumni Task Force, which includes Brooke Aldridge, Eldon Ames, Bill Baker, Lori Coonrod, Bonnie Espinoza, Dr. Cheryl Evans, Delena Hardaway, Larry Kiner, John Martin, Lizabeth Richey, Daron Rudy and Dennis Wilson.
