Jordan Flittie threw a scoreless eighth while Derek Epps finished USAO off with a 1-2-3 ninth to secure the shutout.
Patrick Johnson's fourth inning single gave the Rangers (23-18, 11-9 Sooner Athletic Conference) a 1-0 lead.
Shortstop Trevor Long added two hits for the Rangers.
The Rangers will travel to Dallas for a four-game weekend series with Dallas Christian on Friday and Saturday. Tomorrow's games are slated for a 2 p.m. start.
