September 17, 2012 -- Officials at Northwestern Oklahoma State University are crediting a number of factors for an increase in enrollment for the fall semester.

Enrollment for the 2011 fall semester at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is nearly the same as last year, when the institution reported its largest student headcount in four decades.

Current and prospective students are encouraged to enroll soon at Northwestern Oklahoma State University for the fall semester beginning on Aug. 15, before classes fill up and close.

Students and faculty at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will observe the traditional collegiate spring break from March 14-17. Classes will resume to the normal schedule on Monday, March 21.

Full parking lots, a high demand for dormitory rooms and a general uptick in campus activity led Northwestern Oklahoma State University officials to believe that enrollment numbers for fall semester classes would be positive.   They were right – very right.

Enrollment for the fall semester at Northwestern is at its highest level since 1971 with a large class of first-time freshmen leading the way.
