Enid employees honored

During the fifth annual Faculty/Staff Service Recognition Ceremony at Northwestern Oklahoma State University on Nov. 18, more than 20 faculty and staff members were recognized for their years of service to Northwestern. The ceremony on Nov. 18 honored university employees from the Alva and Woodward campuses, and a ceremony to honor Enid employees was held on Nov. 19 at the Enid campus.

Receiving the five-year service award were (from left) Ryan Hintergardt, sports information director; J.W. Platt, instructor of history; and Larry Richey, courier and ITV facilitator.

(From left, front row) Jennifer Bays, instructor of nursing; Tamara Brown, assistant professor of speech communication and Communication Department chair; Maharry; and Un Ye Parker, maintenance; (From left, back row) Misti Knopf, financial manager of the Foundation Office; Steven Maier, assistant professor of physics; and Michael Moffatt, maintenance, were awarded for their 10 years of service at Northwestern.

Dr. Kay Decker, professor of sociology and chair of the Social Sciences Department, was awarded the 15 year service award.

Receiving the 20 year service award were (from left, front row) Dr. Pat Steed, professor of English; Dr. Patti Wilber, associate dean for economic development; and Dr. Jim Gilchrist, professor of agriculture; (from left, back row) Joe Phillips, instructor of health and sports science; Dr. James Bowen, professor of education and School of Professional Studies dean; and Ronnie Walker, maintenance.

Two recipients received the 25 year service award. Pictured are Dr. Mike Knedler (left), dean of the School of Arts and Sciences, and Dr. Rod Murrow, associate dean of graduate studies.

During theFaculty/Staff Service Recognition Ceremony at Northwestern – Enid, several faculty and staff members were recognized for their years of service to Northwestern.

(From left) Dr. Mark Patzkowski, assistant professor of business; Dr. Jerry Gustafson, professor of e-commerce; and Charleen Carlile, Business Office manager, were all congratulated by Dr. Janet Cunningham, university president. Patzkowski was recognized for five years of service, Gustafson for 10, and Carlile for 20.
