Park Ranger Sydney Stover with the Washita Battlefield National Historic Site will present a lecture on Monday, November 13, at noon through Ken Kelsey’s US History to 1877 class.

Minoma Littlehawk-Sills (Cheyenne) will present a lecture on Monday, November 13, at 7:00 p.m. through Carol Mote’s General Humanities I class. Her topic will be the Sand Creek Massacre and Battle of the Washita from the Cheyenne perspective.

In addition, we will be hosting additional programs at the Woodward Campus:

Sydney Stover will have activities and games for students in the Commons Area from 11:00 a.m.—3:30 p.m.

Minoma Littlehawk-Sills be bringing her family artifacts from the late 1800s to early 1900s for viewing from 2:00 p.m.—5:00 p.m.

Indian Tacos and Corn Soup will be served from 11:00 a.m.—1:00 p.m. and 5:00 p.m.—7:00 p.m.
