The Department of Fine Arts at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will present a senior recital by Charity Epperson, soprano. The recital will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday Nov. 20, in room 200 of the Fine Arts building on the Northwestern campus in Alva.
The program will include works for solo voice and piano by Antonio Vivaldi, Gian Carlo Menotti, Douglas Moore, Maurice Ravel, Robert Schumann and two original pieces.
She will be joined for the performance by Northwestern faculty member Dr. Ling-Yu Kan, assistant professor of piano, and assisted by her brother, Jeremiah Jantz, 2007 graduate of Greensburg, Kan., High School, currently residing in Yukon.
Epperson is a 2004 graduate of Woodward High School. On Dec. 7, she will be graduating with a Bachelor of Music degree in vocal performance from Northwestern.
The performance is free and open to the public.
