More than 20 students and faculty members from Northwestern Oklahoma State University submitted abstracts for Ranger Research Day last week. With 23 entries, the fifth annual Ranger Research Day event reached its second highest record of participants.

Students and faculty at Northwestern Oklahoma State University who have an interest in research should prepare for the Fifth Annual Ranger Research Day on Friday, April 1, at 8 a.m. in the Student Center Ballroom. Deadline for submissions is Monday, March 28.

Northwestern Oklahoma State University faculty and students participated in the fourth annual Ranger Research Day on April 2. Students were given awards for first, second and third. This year two research projects tied for third place.

Ranger Research Day at Northwestern Oklahoma State University will take place on Friday, April 2. Entry deadline is Monday, March 29, and is open to Northwestern students and employees. Registration and set-up begins at 7:30 a.m., in the Student Center Ballroom on the Alva campus. Poster judging will begin at 8:30 a.m. The public is welcome to view the research projects from 8:30 a.m. to noon. A brief awards ceremony will take place at noon.
