There is still time to enroll for summer session classes at Northwestern Oklahoma State University if students act quickly. Eight-week and first four-week summer classes begin June 4. Prospective students are encouraged to complete the enrollment process as soon as possible.
Enrollment for the first four-week classes ends June 5, and for eight-week classes on June 7. July only classes begin July 2 with enrollment ending July 3.
A list of courses is available in the Summer Course Schedule at www.nwosu.edu/course-schedules. Students also can view a list of closed or canceled classes or if any changes have been made to course times, locations or instructors by using the updated course schedules link at this site.
All students must obtain a class schedule and enrollment form, have the form signed by an adviser and process the form at the registrar’s office. Current graduate and undergraduate students enrolled at Northwestern and are pre-approved by their academic advisers, may enroll online or at the registrar’s.
New students—both transfers and first-time students—and those returning after being out at least one semester, must enroll in the registrar’s office.
Northwestern’s summer hours begin Monday, June 4. Offices will be open Monday through Thursday from 7 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Offices will be closed on Fridays. The summer schedule will continue through July 26. The regular Monday through Friday schedule will resume on Monday, July 30.
The bookstores in Alva and Enid are open corresponding hours. Students at Northwestern-Woodward may order books online at www.efollett.com. The books can be sent from Alva to the Woodward campus at no additional charge, or shipped to a specified address for an additional shipping charge.
Enrollment also is open for the fall semester, which begins Aug. 20. An updated schedule and other enrollment information are available at www.nwosu.edu/course-schedules.
Students with enrollment questions may call the Alva registrar’s office at (580) 327-8554, the Enid registration office at (580) 237-0334 or the main office in Woodward at (580) 256-0047.
