Northwestern-Enid had 21 faculty and staff members join in the Enid Walk this Way Campaign this year. This is an effort to get people in the city of Enid to start a healthy habit of walking. The requirement to be entered into their drawing is to walk a minimum of 1,100 minutes over a six-week period. Nine people from the Enid campus exceeded that amount, and two ladies went way over the top. Dr. Kathy Harris walked 2,175 minutes and Dr. Adeana Sallee walked 2,141 minutes. Also being counted were the number of days walked for Northwestern’s Fall into Fitness Challenge. Dr. Sallee is the only one who walked 49 out of the 49 days. Nine others walked 35 days or more.
