  • University singers to present concert April 26

    April 16, 2015--The University Singers on the Northwestern Oklahoma State University Alva Campus will present a concert on April 26 in Herod Hall Auditorium at 2 p.m.  It is titled Northwestern Broadway Showcase.  The concert is open to the public, and admission is free to everybody.

    March 2, 2015--Students in the University Singers, Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s premier choral ensemble, will be performing their New York City Kick-Off Concert on Thursday, March 5, at 7:30 p.m. at the Woodward Arts Theatre and Jessie Adams Cultural Centre, 818 Main Street, and Sunday, March 8, at 2 p.m. at the Alva First United Methodist Church, 516 Church Street.

    February 25, 2015 – The University Singers, Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s premier chorale group, will bring their New York City tour concert to the Woodward Arts Theatre & Jessie Adams Cultural Centre, 818 Main Street, on Thursday, March 5. “New York City, Northwestern Style” will begin at 7:30 p.m., and admittance to the public is free.

    January 21, 2015 -- Twenty-one members of Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s premier choral ensemble, the University Singers, currently are preparing for their East Coast Performing Arts Tour in New York City this spring. The group will be gone March 15-19 and will visit a variety of venues.The tour will begin with a performance at St. John the Devine on March 16 at 10 a.m.

    October 17, 2014--Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s 21-voice ensemble University Singers was invited to perform as one of only 10 groups at a national music conference in Nashville, Tenn., Tuesday, Oct. 28, at 8 a.m.

    January 13, 2013--The Northwestern Oklahoma State University Singers have been invited to perform as one of the top collegiate vocal ensembles in the state of Oklahoma by the Oklahoma Music Educators Association.  The ensemble will perform Thursday, Jan. 16, at 8 p.m. in the Holy Family Cathedral in Tulsa. Tickets are $5.

    February 25, 2013 -- University Singers, an ensemble comprised of 24 Northwestern Oklahoma State University students, will sing songs that will be featured on their tour of China later this month.
