Creative and Critical Readings

The English Department is pleased to present the Reading Out Loud Series. The next reading is scheduled for 6:30 p.m. on Friday, November 6, at Grateful Arts Gallery and Studios (523 Barnes St.). Members of the Writers' Roundtable will read selections from their creative writings, including poetry, fiction, and nonfiction. Contact Dr. Kathleen Earnest for more information.

Welcome to the Department of English, Foreign Language, and Humanities

The Department of English, Foreign Language, and Humanities offers a broad range of courses leading to the Bachelor of Arts degree in English, English Education, or Spanish. Students may also pursue a minor in English, Writing, or Spanish. 

Students may become involved in the Spanish Club, Sigma Delta Pi, and Sigma Tau Delta, organizations that promote the study of language and literature.
