Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Office of Graduate Studies is playing host to the 8th annual Ranger Research Day Nov. 22 from 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. in the Ranger Room.
Students will present a poster or academic research paper depicting the research they have been working on in class.
Poster presentations will be displayed and reviewed in the morning and academic papers will be read and reviewed in the afternoon.
Ranger Research Day is open participation to all Northwestern students and faculty. Everyone is invited to the viewing.
This day is a preliminary to Oklahoma Research Day, which is a statewide and regional research event set to be held at the University of Central Oklahoma on March 7, 2014.
“This is an excellent chance for our students to share the research they are doing in their classes,” Dr. Shawn Holliday, associate dean of graduate studies said. “At 59 participants this is the highest number we have ever had.”
