Northwestern Oklahoma State University education faculty recently attended the Annual Regents’ Reading Conference in Oklahoma City. They listened to keynote speaker Dr. Nell Duke, professor of language, literacy, and culture at Michigan State and leading international author and speaker of literacy issues. The conference topic for this year was “Writing Across the Curriculum.” Those in attendance were (from left) Dr. Carlos Minor, assistant professor of education; Jen Oswald and Roxann Clark, instructors of education; Dr. Mary Ellen Nutter, assistant professor of education; and Dr. Martie Young, professor of education. Young serves on the state-wide planning committee for the event.
