The Local Chapter's Philanthropy
The Delta Omicron Chapter of the Delta Zeta Sorority is highly committed to service. The philanthropy of the Delta Zeta Sorority is Speech and Hearing Impaired. The local chapter is planning a trip to the Oklahoma School of the Deaf and has numerous projects aimed at speech and hearing impaired.
In 2003, the Delta Omicrons hosted a bake sale and a lemonade stand at the Woods Country Free Fair, those two fundraising items helped raise donations for Northwest Family Services to help individuals with speech and hearing impairments.
The chapter is also active in other aspects of philanthropy and service. Many women are active tutors, mentors, hospice volunteers, and HeadStart Volunteers.
The National Organization's Philanthropy
The Delta Zeta Foundation
It's a legacy that lasts... a place to give and a way to give something back... The Delta Zeta Foundation is a non-profit, tax exempt 501(c)3 organization which exists to make possible gifts and support for scholarships, leadership, philanthropy and education. It exists through the generous support of Delta Zetas and friends.
The mission of the Delta Zeta foundation is to advance the sorority's educational and philanthropic purposes through the development of financial and human resources in support of the Sorority's leadership, scholarship, philanthropic and educational programs.
A Legacy That Lasts
Support of the Delta Zeta National historical Museum through the Foundation makes it possible to bring together the important documents, significant material and special mementos that are Delta Zeta's rich heritage. Housed in a renovated Victorian house with a spacious new addition, it is the home and center of activity for Delta Zeta National Headquarters, the Foundation and the Museum.
