Dr. Janet Cunningham honored with award at CASE conference in Dallas

Valencia, Cunningham and Cunningham

Dr. Janet Cunningham (right), president of Northwestern Oklahoma State University, receives the E. Joseph Savoie Chief Executive Leadership Award presented by the Council for Advancement and Support of Education (CASE) at its recent Southwest District IV conference in Dallas. Steve Valencia, chairman of the District IV Board of Directors, and Sue Cunningham, president of CASE, presented the award. The award honors an institutional chief executive officer for outstanding efforts to promote understanding and support for education. The recipient must demonstrate the ability to create a vision; inspire others; establish a positive image for her or his institution while leading it to even higher levels of success; and increase the institution’s stature in the community.
