Dr. Warden has spent many years in the education profession enjoying a variety of different aspects in the elementary field. Upon completion of her Bachelor’s degree from NWOSU, she began her teaching career in the Jet-Nash School system where she taught fourth grade. Since that time, Dr. Warden has had a variety of professional experiences as a classroom teacher, physical education teacher, Title 1 and gifted teacher and elementary administrator before her tenure at NWOSU. Her career has been dedicated to the elementary because she believes that when students receive a strong foundation, they will have the best opportunity of success in school – and life! Dr. Warden in certified by the Oklahoma State Department of Education in elementary education, physical education, social studies, science, reading specialist, elementary principal, secondary principal and superintendent. Her greatest joy is still when someone learns a new concept. She believes each student or teacher should have the opportunity to reach his/her highest potential.
