Deann Lanman receives AAUW scholarship

Deann Lanman, Cherokee junior, is the recipient of a scholarship from the American Association of University Women (AAUW) at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Lanman received the scholarship at an AAUW meeting on Monday during a presentation by Carol Erikson, AAUW president (left), and Dr. Cynthia Pfeifer-Hill (right), professor of biology and AAUW member. Lanman said she is grateful for Northwestern and the assistance she and her children have received.
