An organization’s actions must be driven by and performed consistently with its mission. Therefore, the Division of Business is responsible to comply with the mission of the University and the Division.

The Division of Business mission statement provides:
The Division of Business provides a quality, student-centered learning environment to prepare students to be competent, ethical business professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders in the regional workplace and in the world. The division accomplishes this by offering quality education delivered by qualified, involved faculty dedicated to improvement processes in order to prepare our alumni to contribute to the intellectual and economic vitality of regional stakeholders and beyond.
As a community of learners in a student-centered learning environment, faculty, staff and students should strive to support and enrich the learning environment. It is the mission of the Division to develop ethical business professionals, entrepreneurs and leaders. In order to be successful, it is important that students, professors and staff of the Division of Business abide by a code of ethics.
Northwestern Oklahoma State University has adopted the NWOSU Faculty Code of Ethics applicable to all faculty members. Division of Business faculty also follow the Division of Business Faculty Code of Ethics.
Students who are majoring or minoring in a Business discipline are expected to abide by the Division of Business Student Code of Conduct in all aspects of their NWOSU academic and university-related pursuits. Non-Business/Accounting students taking classes offered by the Divsion of Business are expected to abide by this code of ethics in all such classes.
