2009 (Junior): Played in all but one game (42 as the designated hitter and eight in right field)... Led the team in runs batted in (79) and total bases (152)... Ranked nationally in many categories including: 6th in RBI’s/game (1.519), 12 in RBI’s (79), 16th in total bases per game (2.923), 23rd in home runs (17) and 25th in slugging percentage (.804)... Was ninth in the conference in batting average, slugging percentage and hits per game... Ranked 3rd in the SAC with 1.52 RBI’s per game and 11th in home runs per game (.33)... In the top 10 in single season records in hits (5th), runs batted in (3rd), doubles (8th), home runs (6th) and total bases (4th)... Tied six other players for most home runs in a game with three against St. Gregory’s... Had 80 hits in 189 at bats... Second on the team in at bats and home runs... Previous College: Two-time All-American and all-district performer at North Arkansas College in Harrison, Ark.. Was nationally ranked in batting average, hits and runs batted in both seasons... During the 2008 season, he was ranked ninth in batting average (.479), eight in home runs (14) and fifth in runs batted in (69)... Stole 18 bases in 19 attempts... In his freshman season he was ranked 13th in batting average (.481), third in home runs (11) and fifth in runs batted (59)...Had 12 doubles and a triple during his freshman season in 44 games played and hit 18 doubles and a triple in his sophomore year...    

High School: Was a four-time All-Parish and all-district award winner as a catcher at Vidalia High School in Vidalia, La... Was the 2004 All-Parish Most Valuable Player and 2004 District MVP... Helped the Vikings to an appearance in the 2002 state finals and the 2003 state semifinals... Chosen for the 2004 All-Star Game... Hit .510 with 11 doubles, a triple and eight home runs... Had 40 RBI’s and stole five bases in 27 games played... Also played fullback on the football team were he tallied 103 rushes for 863 yards...
