Northwestern Oklahoma State University is looking for businesses, organizations and schools that are interested in gaining employees who are majoring in education to attend the Education Career Fair on Wednesday, March 28, from 9-11:30 a.m. in the Student Center Ranger Room.
This career fair will be marketed to education majors who are in their junior or senior year of college.
Set-up and welcome begins at 9 a.m., and the job fair is open to students and alumni from 10–11:30 a.m.
“If your company or organization is in the education field, I would highly encourage you to attend this event,” said Lyndsey Heard, career services coordinator.
Heard said they are looking for more registrants from schools, particularly schools that will have vacant jobs next year.
“We also want to encourage any alumni who are currently looking for teaching/education positions to attend,” Heard said.
Education students and alumni are not required to register, but are encouraged to dress professionally and bring a resume to the career fair.
Students who need resume assistance or have questions can contact Heard at (580) 327-8606 or firstname.lastname@example.org. Organizations and schools can register for the event at www.nwosu.edu/career-fair-events.
