Your GPA is figured by dividing your total points by your total hours attempted. Each letter grade is assigned a number of points (A = 4, B = 3, C = 2, D = 1, F = 0). To calculate your total points for the term, multiply your points earned by credit hours taken. For example:

To find your Cumulative GPA, take your Term Credit Hours and Term Points and add them to your Cumulative Hours Attempted and Cumulative Points, then divide the new total points by the new hours attempted.
