Welcome to Northwestern Oklahoma State University’s Social Work Program!
We are thrilled about your decision to become a professional social worker. The social work program at Northwestern is accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE) and leads students to a Bachelors of Social Work (B.S.W.) degree. This program builds on a liberal arts foundation and is designed to prepare social workers for leadership roles in developing and providing services to individuals, families, groups, communities and organizations.
The primary purpose of this handbook is to provide you with a manual that contains the policies, procedures, and descriptions of the Social Work Program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University. We hope you find this to be a useful guide as you matriculate through the social work program.
