Financial
Aid/Scholarships
Students may qualify
for both financial aid and scholarships. They will receive
financial aid only through their home institution (where the
student is enrolled in a degree or certificate program).
Some scholarships may have credit hour or other restrictions.
Students applying
for federal aid and enrolling simultaneously at both schools
must contact the home institution's financial aid office so that
a consortium agreement can be set up. (Home is defined as
the degree granting school - associate or baccalaureate.)
A special scholarship is being offered to Bridge students from
NWOSU. The one time scholarship is available to students
who enter the Bridge program and subsequently complete an
associate's degree at NOC. The tuition scholarship amount
will be based on cumulative grade point average as follows:
| 2.0 - 2.90 |
$1,000 for the academic
year |
| 3.0 - 3.49 |
$1,400 for the academic
year |
| 3.5 - 4.00 |
$1,900 for the academic
year |
* A
Northwestern scholarship
application is required. The amounts are based on
full-time (at least 12 hours per semester) enrollment at NWOSU.
Scholarships will be prorated for less than full time
enrollment.
