Mariann Braten-Hall received her Bachelor of Science (Elementary Education) from Oral Roberts University and her Master of Education (Educational Leadership) from Northwestern Oklahoma State University. Her work experiences include working as a 7/8 math and history teacher at Ponca City Christian Academy, 2nd grade teacher for Ponca City Public Schools and as a Special Education Teacher (PK-5th grade) for Ponca City Public Schools. She holds certifications in the following areas: Elementary Education, Special Education (Mild to Moderate), and Elementary Principal.

Mrs. Braten-Hall grew up in Norway and lived in Sweden for 12 years where she among other things worked in a Christian pre-school program. She speaks 4 languages and loves to travel, especially with her husband, Dennis. Some of the places she has traveled outside of Scandinavia are the Ukraine, Netherlands, and Thailand. She is excited about the diversity of students at NWOSU and the opportunity to work in the western part of Oklahoma. She is dedicated to the quality of education for all students.
