Mission

The Department of Business, E-Commerce, and Accounting provides a quality, student-centered learning environment to prepare students to be competent, ethical business professionals entrepreneurs and leaders in the regional workplace and in the world. The department accomplishes this by offering quality education delivered by well-qualified, involved faculty dedicated to improvement processes in order to prepare our alumni to contribute to the intellectual and economic vitality of regional stakeholders and beyond.

Majors 

The Business Administration program at Northwestern is designed to prepare the student for a career in the field of business. This program provides background training in accounting, economics, computer science, and business. Through study in these areas, the student will gain the thorough background desired in the business industry.

The E-Commerce program at Northwestern Oklahoma State University is dedicated to the education of students in the cutting-edge field of e-commerce. Students who graduate with a degree in electronic commerce (e-commerce) will be the future business leaders holding positions as managers, analysts, and programmers. The e-commerce degree at Northwestern Oklahoma State University has been designed from the ground up with a strong emphasis on theory, along with rigorous laboratory requirements. Our students will graduate with mastery skills in designing, developing and deploying a full scale e-commerce venture.

The Accounting program at Northwestern is designed to provide students with the requisite skills to be competitive for entry-level accounting positions and the background needed for growth into upper-level accounting positions.
