  • Gabriel Dunbar represents Northwestern at state-wide research day

     April 27, 2015 -- Gabriel Dunbar, Northwestern Oklahoma State University student, was selected to represent the university at Research Day, held earlier this month at the Oklahoma Capitol.  Dunbar was one of 24 undergraduate students selected to represent 18 Oklahoma colleges and universities.

  • Evolution/Creation expert to lecture at Northwestern March 26

    March 21, 2013 -- A lecture titled “Darwinism and Creationism: Sibling Rivals?” will be presented Tuesday, March 26, at 7 p.m. in the Struckle Education Center, room 109, as part of the Marvel/Smith Academic Enrichment Series. The event is free and open to the public.

  • Northwestern science class looks to relocate campus bats

    It may take a few months, but members of a Northwestern Oklahoma State University science class have set out to remedy a current campus bat problem. Last spring, students in the Wildlife Management Techniques class taught by Dr. Aaron Place, assistant professor of biology, undertook the service learning project of looking for a solution to remove the current bat population from both the Student Center, as well as the Joe J. Struckle Education Center.
