To receive a degree from Northwestern
Oklahoma State University, a student must earn at least 124 hours of credit in a
chosen curriculum. Regardless of the student’s major, 54 of these hours must be
from the General Education courses listed in the undergraduate catalog. The
student will also select a minor program of study to fulfill additional credit
hours. The courses needed to complete a major in Psychology are specified.
Students are able to choose “elective” courses in both their major and the
General Education requirements.
